Christmas Day

Since we had a late night the boys slept in considering it was Christmas morning and all. They woke up around 7 and were eager to see if Santa had visited. We enjoyed a relaxing day at home with just our family of 5, besides an outing to Humperdinks for lunch.

We finished up our Advent House and "What God Wants For Christmas". I always look forward to these traditions and love to see the boys knowledge of God and Jesus continue to grow. Of course I want them to enjoy the presents and fun, but definitely want them to understand the true meaning of Christmas that God sent our Savior, Baby Jesus!!

It was also fun to celebrate Brooke's first Christmas. She received lots of help from her brothers in opening her few presents. Ben enjoyed playing with her toys since she wasn't quite old enough to fully enjoy them herself!

Did Santa come???

He sure did..
What did Ben get Dad???
The giant yo-yo Ben kept saying he was getting Dad...unfortunately the yo-yo was defective and didn't come with string...oops

Sweet Brooke's First Christmas

Blake and Ben wanted to spend the night in their new tent from Aunt Shara and family......Ben didn't make it the whole night. When he came down to my room in the middle of the night I made them both go to their beds so we could get through the rest of the night
