Thanksgiving

We started Thanksgiving Day out at Uncle Steve and Aunt Jackie's. They are so gracious to have us for lunch year after year. We enjoyed a wonderful meal mostly prepared by Jackie's mom, Mrs. Thurmond, who is such a wonderful cook. We are so spoiled to show up with just a little contribution when she has worked so hard to prepare most of the meal.

We left the Anglin clan and headed over to Brock and Erin's to join the Baldwins and Erin's family. I really tried to get pictures but they didn't turn out that well.

Grandma Csendes Visit

We went to visit Grandma Csendes, Grand's Mom, at the nursing home before we headed out to Papa Bob's farm in Canton.

4 generations present although Grand was helping me get everyone to look..

Brent's 36th Birthday

The kids were excited to celebrate Brent's 36th birthday! Is it really 36?? We made him a birthday cake which was a yellow cake with chocolate icing. They were ready to show it to him and loved helping him blow out the candles. He of course was served on the "You Are Special Today" red plate. Happy 36th Birthday Brent!!

Blake's School Program

The first graders did a Thanksgiving program. Blake was super excited about it and we all enjoyed hearing the great songs they performed. Of course pictures don't really document the program well, but here are a few red eye and all.

Ben's Last Soccer Game

Ben's last soccer game of the season ended in a great win by the Rowdy Dinosaurs. They were undefeated and won every game by many goals. The coach had them practicing passing so that they could work on something besides just scoring lots of goals. What 4 year old team practices passing during a game?? It was a fun first season of outdoor soccer and we look forward to the Rowdy Dinosaurs playing together for many more seasons.

Breakfast with Santa

Our neighborhood started a yearly Breakfast with Santa. We couldn't attend the first year or two. Last year we showed up totally unprepared in our attire. I had no idea what a great thing this was. Santa is wonderful and Cathye, a neighor who is a professional photographer, takes great pictures and prints them for you delivered right to your mailbox. No long lines and the picture is much better than what you would get at the mall, etc. and you bring toys for each kid that are donated for kids in need. While it was a little early to be thinking of Santa, it was a great time! Unfortunately we don't have digital pics (although you can buy them), but I took pictures of the pics to document.

This was Brooke's first year to really be aware of Santa. She was not a fan and got a little teary, but we got a picture of her that wasn't too bad. Although not happy, she was at least not crying!

Blake's Last Soccer Game

Blake had a great last soccer game of the season and for his career. He has decided that he doesn't want to play soccer anymore. It's sad, but he has enjoyed playing on the Rockets for 3 years.
