Memorial Day

We headed over to Aunt Shara's pool on Memorial Day to swim. They weren't there but graciously offered for us to use the pool. It was our first swim as a family and the kids had a blast. Brooke was pretty mild mannered until she saw her brothers jumping off the waterfall and thought she should do that too! She walked across the spa rocks and started climbing up until we stopped her! It's amazing how she has no fear and thinks she is as big as they are. I guess it's the life of the third child + her personality, but I was never prepared for this from my little "girl"!

Ben's Field Day

Ben's School Program

Ben's preschool had their annual school program. I was curious to see if Ben would actually participate and sing since he hasn't in previous years. I was pleasantly surprised that he did! He did a great job, but unfortunately the pictures aren't that great because he was right in front of the microphone.

Brooke and sweet Calley. I hope they love playing with each other as they get older. They will be in the same grade and are 8 months apart. Kristy and I joke that they will love slumber parties while they munch on all kinds of goodies. These girls both love to eat during this stage of life!
I guess we will have to wait for another Messiah preschool program until these girls are potentially in one!

A Few Things from May

Blake had to dress up as a character from a book for school, and he chose Jack from Magic Tree House. He looks pretty good especially for a last minute costume!

This one loved to climb the bleachers and made it rather difficult to watch but at least she is cute. Yes, she is in a sweater. It was cold this day in May!

This is a pic of Ben and his buddy Connor from the last game. They have become great friends and will probably play many more sports together in the future.

Unfortunately, I don't have pictures of the end of the season party since Ben got sick while in line to order. I did grab his trophy real quick and he was super excited. I just took this later at home but wanted to document his first baseball trophy.



The Cubs were a great team and all of the players were really good. Although they were only 5 it was much more enjoyable to watch since most of them crushed the ball, could stop balls, and try to get the out first. We look forward to continuing playing with this team!
