Brooke's Third Month

Brooke started to coo and make lots of sounds this month. She loved talking to her bear mobile. She started laughing and there is plenty to laugh at in the Baldwin house. Ben was still showering her with many kisses. She was sleeping good, which was a tremendous blessing! Brooke started enjoying her play mat. I didn't seem to take very many pictures this month, but here are a few.

Christmas Card and Birth Announcement

We did a combo Christmas Card and Birth Announcement.

Ben's Perfect Game

When we got the Wii last Christmas, I was a little hesitant because I thought Blake would be addicted. While he likes it and will play it at times, Ben is the one who is addicted. Most nights before bed we have a family Wii game. Usually bowling or golf.

Due to his competitive nature, Ben was set on getting a perfect bowling score. His day finally came tonight. HE DID IT!!!! He was so proud of himself. Brent and I were extremely nervous for him as he proceeded to the 10th frame. We don't think he realized he was at the end with a perfect score.

He has since gone on to get 2 more perfect games, for a total of 3! We wonder how many other 3 year old's have scored 3 perfect Wii bowling scores. I'm assuming most 3 year old's aren't playing Wii yet!

Thanksgiving

This year we celebrated Thanksgiving with the Baldwin family the Sunday before Thanksgiving. We had lunch at Grand and Pops condo and watched the Cowboy game. After the game, we went to visit Grandma Florence at her nursing home. She seemed really excited to see all of us, even though we were quite the show.

On Thanksgiving day, we headed to my brother's house to have Thanksgiving with them. My dad was able to join us for lunch before heading off to the Cowboy game, and my sister and her family were in California with her in-laws. Mrs. Thurmond (Jackie's mom) once again prepared a delicious Thanksgiving lunch. She truly is an amazing cook and we love the opportunity to get to indulge in all she prepares!

And this was Brooke's first Thanksgiving at a little over 2 months old!!

Anyone who knows Blake, knows he loves the computer. I walked into the office today and found this. Makes for great office art.

Ben's Thanksgiving Feast

Ben's class had a Thanksgiving Feast. They made turkeys out of apples, marshmallows, a candy corn, and raisins. They also donated food to a local food pantry and got to put their can goods in a shopping basket and walk it down to the main school gathering site. Each kid had a vest and a turkey visor to wear but of course Ben would have nothing to do with it.
