Baldwin Family Pictures

Since there was another addition to the Baldwin family this year, we had another Baldwin photo shoot. I must admit (at least for me) I felt more comfortable and relaxed than I expected. Pictures stress me out in a major way, but I had no expectations for my kids this year. I had a 2 month old which you never know what will hold and the boys and pictures are always crazy. It pleasantly turned out well. Here are a few....

Brooke's Second Month

Brooke's second month of life involved her taking in her surroundings and her first interaction. At 6 weeks she gave us a real, intentional smile. It was so sweet and fun to see her first interaction with us. Her brothers continued to show her lots of love and affection. Ben was still providing Brooke with many kisses. It really surprised me how much the boys were into her. They were always so happy to greet her in the mornings and show her all the things they were up to. She enjoyed watching her bear mobile on the pack-n-play changing table and also the mobile in her bed. She would be entertained for a long time with these. She continued to be a very good sleeper. Usually going from 11 till 6 am!

I had to capture the ridiculous size bow I put on her at 2 months. Decided I needed to wait till her head was a little bigger for this bow! It was the only hot pink bow I had but still a little large.

50's Day at Kindergarten

Blake's Kindergarten class celebrated their 50th day of school with a 50's day. I must admit it was much easier to dress a boy for a 50's day than a girl. You can't go wrong with a white tight undershirt, rolled up jeans, and slicked back hair. I guess I have 6 more years until I have to come up with a poodle skirt! He had fun dressing up and looked great! Check him out...

Halloween

The boys were super excited for Halloween. Blake said he wanted to be Boba Fett from Star Wars and Ben chose to be Darth Vadar. I had no idea who Boba Fett was when Blake mentioned it, so I quickly had to do a quick internet search to have a clue what to buy. Brooke didn't think she wanted to mess with a costume at just 1 month old, so she just had a cute Jack-o-lantern shirt.

Brent's family came over to go trick or treating with us. Pops stayed home and handed out candy while Grand was all dressed up in her clown costume and went home with Brooke since she wasn't having much fun! I was very thankful for all their help so that I could enjoy being out with the boys. Carter, who is 1, was dressed as the spider that Blake was when he was 1. He was too cute and it was hard to believe it had been so long since Blake had worn it.

Where's Ben???

Ben loves to fall asleep in the most unusual places. You might remember the post of him falling asleep on a stair one time. This time he fell asleep in the car and I woke him up to come inside. I came in and was dealing with Brooke, and then I couldn't find Ben. I began my search and found him asleep at the door of my closet. Don't mind the clothes overflowing the dirty clothes basket.

Shaving Cream Fun

One of Blake's homework assignments was to use shaving cream in the bath to practice his writing. I must say I was a little hesitant at first, but what the heck. They loved it and managed to keep most of it in the bath.
